Why are you guys re-using frames?
Glad you asked! We love vintage steel frames. Steel is an incredibly durable and reliable material when it comes to urban bike frames. We love the look, details and simplicity of vintage steel, and why not re-use it and avoid it ending up at the dump! We take pride in giving them a whole new life.

Questions?
Not a lot of people do what we do, so you might have a few questions... Read below or get in touch, we're happy to chat!
02
Is the paint durable?
It's not paint - it's powder! We work with a top-notch local vendor (Top Gun Coatings) who specialises in powdercoating. They start by sandblasting and baking the frame to clean it up completely, then they apply the powdercoat and set it. The end result is the toughest most long lasting colour you can get. However, like anything it can get damaged if it's abused... Gotta be be nice to your ride!

Do you guys guarantee your work?
We consider ourselves close to our clients don't want you to worry about your bike, so in a word- yes! As long as the bike doesn't show signs of abuse, we'll guarantee parts and maintenance on it for 2 years. We recommend a follow-up visit after you've ridden your bike for a few weeks to make sure everything is nice and tight once it's "broken in" and will also offer a free tune up the following season.

How long does it take you to make my bike?
Depending on the options you're picking, it can take us up to a month to turn a bike around. That being said, the easier the job, the faster the work! We're very transparent about timelines and as you make your design choices we will work with you to get you on the road when you want!
I didn't really see a price anywhere - how much does it cost?
To be honest, it depends on what we're doing to your bike. If you bring a frame vs if you need us to find one, the handlebars, grips, seat, colour you want - it's all part of it. We'll establish a budget before we get going to ensure you're clear on costs-no surprises! To give you an idea, a Roadster with standard colour and components will be about $900 +gst all in. For a Speedster? $995 +gst.
Are the bikes on display anywhere?
Yes, they are currently at the Meraki Supply Co. store located in Kensington, 103 - 305 10th St. NW.
We encourage you to stop by this totally awesome store supporting local quality products for the adventurer - urban or otherwise!
